For those who enjoy the lore of the seasons, today is Epiphany or Twelfth Night. It’s the last day of the 12 days of Christmas, so time to get the final celebrations going. According to the marvelous book The Winter Solstice by John Matthews, this is traditionally the night when the Christmas decorations are taken down… and stored away until the next Yuletide. Merry Twelfth Night!
